A 22 year old Machias woman was charged with DWI on July 28, 2018 following a report of a suspicious person.
According to New York State Troopers, officers were dispatched to Bakerstand Rd in the Town of Franklinville for a report of a female going through a vehicle, looking for a cell phone charger, that did not belong to her. Upon interview of Kali M. Lemon, it was discovered that Lemon was driving on Bakerstand Rd and when she attempted to turn around, she became stuck on the shoulder. Lemon was placed under arrest after failing SFST’s and was transported to SP Machias for processing. Lemon recorded a .15%BAC.
Lemon was issued tickets returnable to the Town of Franklinville court in August 2018.
