UNIVERSITY AT BUFFALO ATHLETICS


BUFFALO, N.Y. — The University at Buffalo men’s and women’s track and field teams have both been honored as All-Academic Teams by the United States Track and Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA). The men’s team posted a team grade point average of 3.03, while the women’s team posted a 3.22. 


In order to be honored as an All-Academic Team, a program must finish the season with at least a 3.00 cumulative team GPA.
In addition, Selina Von Jackowski of the women’s track and field team earned individual All-Academic honors. Von Jackowski is a management major with a 3.74 grade point average. It is the second straight year the junior has earned the honor.
To be named to the All-Academic Team, student-athletes must have posted a minimum 3.25 grade point average and either finished the indoor regular season ranked in the national top 96 or participated in any round of the NCAA Division I Championships for the outdoor season.
