NEW YORK — In response to recent news that former state Senate Majority Leader Dean Skelos has been found guilty in his corruption retrial, Sarah Goff, Associate Director of Common Cause/NY, issued the following statement:
“Two juries have now twice convicted Dean Skelos of using his position in government to extort favors for his family in return for taxpayer funded resources. Case closed.”
