BUFFALO, N.Y. — Buffalo State has released its 2018-19 women’s basketball schedule featuring 25 games, including the annual Betty Abgott Invitational and 11 other home games.
The Bengals will open with a pair of road non-conference games at Morrisville (Nov. 8) and Medaille (Nov. 13), before hosting the Abgott tourney on Nov. 16 and 17. Cazenovia and Thiel will tip the tournament off and the Bengals will battle Alfred University. The winners and losers will meet in the championship and consolation the following day.
The Bengals will play two more home non-conference games against St. John Fisher (Nov. 20) and Alfred State (Nov. 28) before opening SUNYAC play at Fredonia on Dec. 1. Buffalo State will then host Oswego and Cortland on Dec. 7 and 8 respectively to close out the first semester.
The Bengals will visit D’Youville on Jan. 2 and will then play 15-straight league games to close out the season, including seven at home. Buffalo State will end the regular season with a second Battle by the Lake matchup against Fredonia on Feb. 16.
