CampbellBUFFALO, N.Y. — Buffalo State has announced its 24-game slate for the 2018-19 men’s basketball season which will tip off with the annual Coles Classic in the Buffalo State Sports Arena on November 16 and 17.

The Bengals will open the season against Bethany College, while John Carroll and Johnson & Wales will meet in the tournament’s opening game.  The winners and losers will meet up in the second day of the Classic.

After non-conference games at St. John Fisher (Nov. 20) and at home against Alfred State (Nov. 28), Buffalo State will open SUNYAC play with three league games before the holiday break.  The Bengals will travel to Fredonia on Dec. 1 and will host Oswego and Cortland on Dec. 7 and 8 respectively.

Buffalo State will take a road trip to Virginia to close out the first semester at the Bridgewater College Tournament on Dec. 15 and 16.

The Bengals will then play 15-straight league games after the New Year to close out the season, including seven at home.  Buffalo State will close out the regular season with a second Battle by the Lake matchup against Fredonia on Feb. 16.
