A 24 year old Jamestown man was charged with Assault 3rd Degree, Unlawful Imprisonment 2nd Degree, Criminal Obstruction of Breathing, Criminal Mischief 4th Degree, Menacing 3rd Degree and Harassment 2nd Degree on June 24, 2018 following a domestic dispute. 


According to New York State Troopers, officers responded to a residence in Kennedy for a report of a domestic incident, at which time they observed the victim with multiple facial injuries. Investigation revealed that Andrew Holcomb locked the victim in a bedroom during which time he choked her, head-butted her, threatened her life and physically prevented her from calling 911 by taking her cell phone away and striking her in the face. Holcomb was no longer on scene however the Troopers later located Holcomb in Jamestown and placed him under arrest.

Holcomb was processed at SP Jamestown, arraigned in the town of Kiantone Court and remanded to the Chautauqua County Jail.  Holcomb is scheduled to appear in the town of Poland Court next month to answer the charges.
