PRESS RELEASE


A 47 year old Buffalo man was charged with felony DWI on June 20, 2018 following a routine traffic stop.

According to New York State Troopers, an officer observed a vehicle traveling 75 mph in a 55 mph zone on State Route 33 in Cheektowaga.  The vehicle was stopped and the driver, Jason E. Collier, failed field sobriety tests.  He was arrested and refused to provide a breath sample.  Collier was charged felony Leandra’s law DWI due to having two 12-year-old passenger’s in the car. 

Collier was held pending arraignment in the Town of Cheektowaga court.
