LEROY — A 43-year-old Leroy man was charged Wednesday with fourth-degree grand larceny, second-degree identity theft, unlawful possession of personal identification and a parole violation.
According to New York State Police, Troopers were advised that Jayson M. Connolly had stolen a credit card from another person and subsequently made three transactions at three separate institutions totaling $987.00. In addition, Connolly was determined to have an active parole status in New York. Connolly was subsequently arrested, arraigned and held at the Wyoming County Jail. Connolly scheduled to return for a felony hearing on June 19, 2018.
The Troopers were also assisted by New York Department of Corrections and Community Supervision -Parole Division.
