ARCADE — A 39-year-old Arcade man was charged Wednesday with driving while intoxicated following a two-car crash at the intersection of Genesee Road and ST-98.
According to New York State Police, During the accident investigation, it was determined Duane R. Schmidt failed to observe a stop sign on Genesee Road. Schmidt continued through the intersection of ST-98 and struck another stopped vehicle. Schmidt was subsequently arrested and released on appearance tickets returnable to the Town of Arcade Court on June 28, 2018.
The Troopers were also assisted on scene by the Arcade Police Department.
