CarrollBUFFALO, N.Y. — Buffalo State has released its 2018 football schedule which kicks off with three-straight road games, including a pair of out-of-state contests, before competing in its final season in the Empire 8 before moving to the Liberty League in 2019.

The Bengals open the season on Sept. 1 at Bridgewater State in Massachusetts and follow that with a Sept. 8 trip to Michigan to face Adrian.  After an open week, Buffalo State wraps up its non-conference slate with a visit to future Liberty League rival RPI on Sept. 22.

Buffalo State finally takes to Coyer Field for the E8 opener against Hartwick on Sept. 29, and will host Alfred University the following week in the team’s first ever home night game, kicking off at 6 p.m.

After back-to-back road trips to Cortland and Brockport, the Bengals play their final two of just four home games against Morrisville and Utica on Oct. 27 and Nov. 2 respectively, before closing the season on the road at St. John Fisher on Nov. 10.
