PAUL EDWARD COVELL passed away on Monday June 4, 2018.  He was born in Lockport on November 25, 1946. Paul was a loving husband, father, brother, uncle and cousin. He was well known for having a great sense of humor, for his quick wit, and just being an all-around good guy.  He will be missed by many. He enjoyed skiing, reading, tending his yard and garden, golfing and watching old movies.  He was a member of the UAW, CSEA, Ski Club of Lockport and the Mattie Bork Golf League.

Survived by his wife of 45 years, Margo Covell, daughter, Brenda, and his future son in law Tom Weil.  Also survived by his twin brother, Peter (Janice), sister in law, Ida Covell, sister- in- laws Cathy (Lee) Yaffa and Mary (Kevin) McCarthy, several nieces, nephews, great niece and great nephews.  Predeceased by his parents, Edward and Dorothy (Pless) Covell, brother Rodney and his wife, Marilyn, and brother Robert Covell.

He graduated from Newfane Central School and Buffalo State College, worked at Harrison Radiator for 30 years, Niagara County Golf Course over 15 years, Niagara County DSS Heap Department for over 15 years, Niagara County Board of Elections as a Voting Machine Custodian for over 10 years.  A life time member of Trinity Lutheran Church in Lockport where he served as an Elder.

Friends may call on Friday June 8th 4-8 PM in Prudden and Kandt Funeral Home, 242 Genesee Street, Lockport, where services will be held on Saturday June 9th at 1 PM.  Interment will be in Cold Spring Cemetery.  Donations can be made to an organization of your choosing.
