PRESS RELEASE


A 29 year old Ashville woman was charged with two counts of criminal possession of a controlled substance as well as with unlawful possession of marijuana on May 10th, 2018 after a routine traffic stop. 

According to New York State Troopers, Ashley Senko was pulled over on Open Meadows Road in North Harmony for traffic violations and while speaking to Senko, the Troopers smelled marijuana emanating from inside of her vehicle. A search of the vehicle revealed a smoking device containing marijuana residue, two straws containing heroin residue and four packs of Suboxone strips, which were not prescribed to Senko. Senko was placed under arrest, transported to SP Jamestown and processed.

Senko was issued tickets returnable to the town of North Harmony Court and is scheduled to appear in the town of North Harmony Court later in the month to answer the charges.
