A 23 year old Castile man was charged with DWAI, unlawful possession of marijuana, and aggravated unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle on May 5, 2018 after a routine traffic stop.
According to New York State Troopers, an officer stopped Tyler J. Salamone for speeding on SR 39 in the Town of Castile. Troopers detected an odor of an alcoholic beverage and a strong odor of marijuana emanating from the vehicle. Salamone was placed under arrest after failing multiple SFST’S and transported to SP Warsaw for an evaluation by a drug recognition expert and for processing.
Salamone was issued traffic tickets returnable to the town of Castile court on May 21, 2018 at 7:30 PM.
