CANISIUS COLLEGE ATHLETICS
Canisius head men’s swimming and diving coach Scott Vanderzell announced Saturday that the program will add 13 new student-athletes to the 2018-19 roster.
The 13-member incoming class features Mason Adams (Marilla, N.Y.), Christian Balkin (Buffalo, N.Y), Jordan Warner Chatelle (Amherst, N.Y.), Gavin Coughlan (Glens Falls, N.Y.), Garrett Grear (Rochester, N.Y.),Kyle Kimerer (Boardman, Ohio), Michael Maurer (Hamburg, N.Y.), Liam O’Connell (Hamburg, N.Y.),Jordan Read (Las Vegas, Nev.), Tyler Regelsberger (Rochester, N.Y.), Tyler Smith (Greece, N.Y.),Connor Way and AJ Yost (Mexico, N.Y.).
The Golden Griffins won a program record seven meets in 2017-18 and posted 413.5 points en route to a fourth-finish at the 2018 MAAC Swimming and Diving Championships, which were held in Buffalo.
