EDISON, N.J. — The 2018 Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference (MAAC) softball teams have been announced. Niagara’s Kelsey Harrigan was named to the MAAC All-Rookie Team, while nine players were recognized for their efforts in the classroom, being named to the All-Academic team.

Harrigan started in 48 of the teams 49 games in the outfield this season, primarily in left field. In her first college game against Cleveland State, Harrigan recorded two hits – including her first home run – in four at-bats, finishing the game with one walk, one RBI and three runs scored.
