BUFFALO, N.Y. — Freshman outfielder Anna Aguon capped her outstanding first season for the Bulls with a huge weekend at the plate in the final three games of the season. The Vancouver, WA native finished off the series against Miami (OH) batting .667 with two home runs, five RBI and four runs scored while slugging a team-high 1.556 with an on base percentage of .692. Aguon posted two each in each game on the weekend as she opened the weekend with a 2-for-3 performance with a triple, RBI and run scored as UB downed Miami (OH), 7-3. She opened Saturday’s doubleheader with a 2-for-3 effort at the plate with a career-best two home runs, three RBI and two runs scored while also earning a walk. She capped her season with a 2-for-3 effort at the plate with a RBI and run scored. For the season, Aguon posted a .359 batting average to go along with a team-best seven home runs, 35 RBI and 36 runs scored. She also led the Bulls with a .633 slugging percentage and a .451 on base percentage. 


Junior sprinter Anthony Clark had a strong weekend at the Jim Thorpe Open hosted by Penn State as he was able to run a lifetime best of 14.52 seconds in the 110HH while claiming the victory in the event. His time in the event puts him in seventh place in the MAC this season.
