BEREA, O.H. — Ronni Kordrupel (East Aurora/Iroquois) crossed first in the1,500-meter run and also helped lead the Bengals’ 4×400-meter relay to a victory as Buffalo State placed sixth of 11 teams at today’s Sparky Adams Invitational.

NOTABLES:
- Kordrupel posted a winning time in the 1,500-meter run of 4:44.81. She also joined Tashana Dixon(White Plains/Woodlands), Kayleigh Bystrak (Alden/Iroquois) and Ashley Lyons (Freeport/Freeport) to win the 4×400-meter relay (4:07.04) and was runner-up in the 800-meter run (2:17.87).
- Three Bengals scored in the 400-meter dash, led by Lyons in third (59.97), Dixon in fourth (1:00.51) and Bystrak in seventh (1:04.39).
- Tianna Gillenwater (New Rochelle/New Rochelle) was runner-up in the shot put (11.47m), and Cheila Diao (Latham/Shaker) finished fifth (10.67).

Buffalo State will compete next on Monday at the Alfred State Invitational.
