ALFRED — A 24-year-old Alfred man was charged early this morning with driving while intoxicated following a traffic stop.
According to New York State Police, Troopers stopped Allman on St Rt 244 at 1:59 a.m. for an inadequate muffler. Allman was placed under arrest after failing multiple SFST’s and transported to SP Amity for processing. Allman recorded a .16 percent blood-alcohol content.
He was issued traffic tickets returnable in the Town of Alfred Court for April 2018.
