If you’re a registered professional nurse or soon-to-be nursing school graduate, Niagara Falls Memorial Medical Center wants to talk to you.
The medical center will hold a nursing job fair from 4:30 to 6:30 p.m. Wednesday, April 25 in its Tenth Street Café, 621 10th St. Representatives from Memorial’s inpatient and outpatient services will be on hand to interview job candidates, discuss the advantages of working at Memorial and conduct hospital tours.
“This is an exciting time to pursue a nursing career at Memorial Medical Center,” said Vice President & Chief Nursing Officer JoAnn Pellegrino. “Our growth has created job opportunities in our medical and surgical units as well as in behavioral health, our emergency department and outpatient services.”
With the support of the School of Nursing at Niagara University, Memorial recently began the process toward national Magnet recognition. Established by the American Nurses Credentialing Centers, Magnet status is the gold standard recognition for nursing practice nationally and is proven to have a dramatic impact on patient care outcomes and leadership development.
“We’re looking for nurses who want to join us in that pursuit of excellence and we invite them to visit us April 25 and learn what we’re all about,” Pellegrino said.
