NIAGARA UNIVERSITY ATHLETICS
AMBLER, P.A. — The Niagara women’s golf team placed second in a tri-match with La Salle and Delaware State on Saturday. The team finished with a total score of 367 (+83).
Sydney Shaw led the Purple Eagles, finishing in second place. She carded an 88 (+17).
Marissa Del Monaco and Emily Doyle tied for sixth place. Both shot 92 (+21).
Daniella Hopper carded a 95 (+24) and tied for eighth place and Sarah Godfrey shot 96 (+25) and tied for 10thplace.
The Purple Eagles close out the regular season with a dual match at Saint Francis (Pa.) on Sunday, April 15 before heading to the MAAC Championships in Lake Buena Vista, Fla. April 20-22.
