LOCKPORT — The Barker Lions completed their club exchange with the Lockport Lions by attending their meeting on Tuesday.

Fifteen members of the club made the trek to Lockport. Zone Chair Tony Weigand arranged for the meeting. Barker Lion Margo Sue Bittner was the speaker. She told about her winery and related the ghost story. A lively question and answer session about the true history of the families followed.

The Lions Clubs shared the events they have upcoming. The Barker Lions have a Pancake Breakfast at the Barker Fire Hall on April 22 and the Lockport Lions have a Pancake Breakfast at Cammmaratas on May 20. Barker Lions annual Mother’s Day chicken Barbecue is May 13.

 The club is also coordinating a Night at the Races at Ransomville Speedway. It will be held on August 10.
