NIAGARA UNIVERSITY ATHLETICS



FARMVILLE, V.A. — The Niagara men’s golf team completed the final round of the Longwood/Manor Intercollegiate on Saturday. The team carded a three-round total of 949 (+85) and finished in 10th place.

Ben Conroy led Niagara, firing a 78 (+6) in round three for a total score of 231 (+15). Conroy finished tied for 23rd place.

Christian Nizamis moved up six spots from day one, carding a 75 (+3) in round three. He carded a three-round total of 235 (+19) and finished tied for 33rd.

Wilson Lockwood moved up 17 spots from day one to finish tied for 44th place. He carded a 54-hole total of 241 (+25) and was only one stroke over par (73) in the final round.

Michael McIntosh finished with a total score of 248 (+32) and tied for 59th place and Matt Lesinski finished with a total score of 250 (+34) and tied for 62nd place.

The Purple Eagles compete next at the Abarta Coca-Cola Lehigh Valley Collegiate Invitational in Hellertown, Pa. on Sunday, April 1.
