ROCHESTER, N.Y. — Four games developed by Rochester Institute of Techology students were showcased at the 2018 Game Developers Conference in San Francisco last week.
Aidan Markham of Rochester (14610) and team worked on Crazy Platez, a high-octane, Rochester, N.Y.-themed game in development that encourages players to race to deliver “plates” to residents and refill tanks before they run out of gas.

GDC is the world’s largest professional gaming industry event of the year. The conference is a key learning and networking opportunity for both aspiring and professional game developers.
“GDC is an amazing opportunity for our students to make essential connections with those in the industry, sharpen their presentation and interviewing skills so early in their careers, and serve as ambassadors for RIT’s top-notch programs,” said Jennifer Hinton, chief communications officer of RIT’s MAGIC Spell Studios.
