CANISIUS STARTS SPRING SEASON IN FLORIDA

• The Canisius College golf team returns to action March 23-25, as the Golden Griffins travel south to take part in the 2018 FAU Spring Championship. This will be the Griffs’ first of three spring tournaments.
• The FAU Spring Championship is a 54-hole event, with teams playing 18 holes Friday-Sunday.
• Canisius is one of three MAAC schools in the 19-team field, joining Manhattan and Monmouth.
• This marks the second time Canisius has played in an event hosted by FAU. The Blue and Gold was in the field at the
FAU Slomin Autism Championship in 2016.

GRIFFS TAKE SECOND AT ANNUAL LITTLE 3 CHAMPIONSHIP
• In the team’s last tournament action, Canisius placed second in the annual Little 3 Championship, which was played at Niagara Falls Country Club back on Oct. 19.
• Freshman Matt Genaway was the Griffs’ top individual performer in that event, placing fourth with his 36-hole score of 152.

NEXT ON THE TEE
• The Griffs will return to tournament action April 14-15, when the Blue and Gold travels to Maryland to play in the 36-hole Navy Spring Invitational.
