JAMESTOWN — A 20-year-old Ohio man was charged Thursday with unlawful possession of marijuana following a traffic stop.

According to New York State Police, Ariel Packer of Columbus, Ohio was pulled over on I-86 for speeding and while speaking to Packer, the Troopers smelled marijuana emanating from inside the vehicle. A search of Packer and her vehicle revealed a bag containing four grams of marijuana, a bottle containing three grams of marijuana and a pipe containing marijuana residue. Packer was issued an appearance ticket and a traffic ticket and is scheduled to appear in the town of Ellicott Court later in the month.
