Richard B. Nerber, Sr. passed away February 27, 2018 in Newfane Rehab & Health Care center. Born January 21, 1938 in Lockport he was the son of Hobart and Berniece (Ogden) Nerber. He served in the US Navy from 1957 to 1961 and worked for 29 years for Buffalo Paper Board where he was a machine tenderer. Richard enjoyed collecting sport cards, bowling, playing BINGO, and bowling. He was predeceased by his wife Judith (Weaver) Nerber on July 22, 2014.
Richard is survived by his children Richard B. (Mary Jane Smith) Nerber, Jr., Alan (Shari Rabatin) Nerber, Cynthia S. Hueber and Kimberly (Mark) Benedict; six grandchildren (special helper Anthony) and several great grandchildren; brother Roy Nerber and several nieces and nephews.
Relatives and friends may call Saturday, March 3rd from 4-7 PM with services at 7 PM in Prudden & Kandt Funeral Home, 242 Genesee St., Lockport.
