Joseph J. Vullo passed away on Saturday February 17, 2018. Born in Buffalo on October 15, 1929, he was the son of the late Charles and Anna Urban Vullo. Joseph served as a combat veteran during the Korean War in the US Army from 1948 until his discharge in 1952. He worked as Die Setter for Tonawanda Forge, a division of General Motors for 39 years retiring in 1993. He was a former member and past president of the Lions Club, Pendleton Veterans Association and enjoyed fishing, his pets and spending time with his family.

Joseph is survived by his wife of 59 years, Janet (nee Panzica) Vullo. He was the father of Wendi (Timothy) Pencille, Judi (Thomas) Gewand and Michael Vullo. He is also survived by six grandchildren and a dear friend Leslie Finley known as Joe’s 3rd daughter.

Friends may call on Wednesday Feb. 21st, 2-5 PM in Prudden and Kandt Funeral Home, 242 Genesee Street, Lockport, with Military Honors at 5 PM. Flowers gratefully declined, memorials to St. Jude’s Children Hospital, Habitat for Humanity, Save-a-Pet or to Niagara County SPCA, would be appreciated by the family.
