This week’s featured show is Burt Fest 2018.
Now in it’s 5th year, FTMP Events’ annual Burt Fest for this year is taking place at Buffalo Iron Works on Sunday, February 18th! This anniversary celebration of the local booking organization showcases some of the area’s best local talent in an all day mini “festival” atmosphere. 15 bands will be taking the stage, including: Fernway (ex Rescue Dawn), Creating A Sinner, Film House, Breath of the Valkyrie, Of Night And Light, Deep Valleys, Grub, Amateur Hockey Club, The Second String, Avidd the Band, Sunday Brunch, The Good Neighbors, Humble State, The Wolves of Tomorrow, & Into the Wake. Allentown Music & All WNY News And Radio are proud sponsors for this event.
Burt Fest 2018 opens at 2:00pm, and will run until about Midnight. Tickets are available for $10 presale, or $15 at the door. The day will be filled with many returning favorites, along with some new acts that have been blowing people away in our local scene. From Pop to Rock to Psych, there’s a little something for everyone while still remaining family friendly. So bring your grandmother, your friends, and your weird uncle Steve (you know he’s been stuck on those old records for too many years, and could use some new music to listen to).
