CLARKSVILLE — A 56-year-old Wellsville man was charged Saturday with aggravated DWI following a crash on County Road 40.
According to New York State Police, Norman W. Grabbitt was involved in a motor vehicle accident. While interviewing Grabbitt, the odor of an alcoholic beverage was detected. Field sobriety tests were conducted, which he subsequently failed. He was arrested and transported to SP Amity for processing where he recorded a 0.18 percent blood alcohol content. He was released on tickets and is due in the Town of Clarksville Court on Feb. 21.
