LATHAM — Major General Anthony P. German, the Adjutant General, announces the recent reenlistment of 20 State National Guard members from Western New York in recognition of their continuing commitment to serve community, state and nation as part of the Army National Guard.

  • Staff Sergeant Daniel Baetge from Webster, reenlisted to continue service with the Headquarters and Service Company, 642nd Support Battalion.
  • Sergeant First Class Stanley Bagrowski from Alden, reenlisted to continue service with the Company B, 3-126th Aviation.
  • Sergeant Shane Barrett from Jamestown, reenlisted to continue service with the 222nd Military Police Company.
  • Specialist Melissa Beneway from Lackawanna, reenlisted to continue service with the 1156th Engineer Company.
  • Sergeant Meagan Chapman from Kenmore, reenlisted to continue service with the Headquarters and Headquarters Company, 27th Brigade Special Troops Battalion.
  • Sergeant Gena Eberhardt from Silver Creek, reenlisted to continue service with the Company A, 642nd Support Battalion.
  • Sergeant Todd Fleenor from Upper Attica, reenlisted to continue service with the Headquarters and Headquarters Company, 2-108th Infantry.
  • Staff Sergeant Jeffrey Fordham from Tonawanda, reenlisted to continue service with the C Troop, 2-101 Cavalry (Reconnaissance, Surveillance and Target Acquisition).
  • Sergeant Eric Gurewitch from Rochester, reenlisted to continue service with the 105th Military Police Company.
  • Specialist Justin Hare from Warsaw, reenlisted to continue service with the Headquarters and Headquarters Company, 27th Brigade Special Troops Battalion.
  • Staff Sergeant Scott Hemperly from Tonawanda, reenlisted to continue service with the Company C, Recruiting and Retention Battalion.
  • Specialist Zachary Hoyer from Wellsville, reenlisted to continue service with the 222nd Military Police Company.
  • Sergeant Tommy Lafferty from Fillmore, reenlisted to continue service with the 827th Engineer Company.
  • Sergeant Michael Lebron from Penfield, reenlisted to continue service with the Company B, 3-126th Aviation.
  • Sergeant Calley Leitten from Warsaw, reenlisted to continue service with the Headquarters and Headquarters Company, 27th Brigade Special Troops Battalion.
  • Sergeant Sara Mattingly from Angola, reenlisted to continue service with the Hedquarters and Headquarters Detachment, Recruiting and Retention Battalion.
  • Staff Sergeant Andres Rosado from Rochester, reenlisted to continue service with the Company A (Distribution), 427th Brigade Support Battalion.
  • Staff Sergeant Douglas Sandburg from Amherst, reenlisted to continue service with the 222nd Military Police Company.
  • Specialist Darius Spady from Rochester, reenlisted to continue service with the Headquarters and Service Company, 642nd Support Battalion.
  • Staff Sergeant William Walker from Buffalo, reenlisted to continue service with the 152nd Engineer Support Company.

“New Yorkers count on our Citizen Soldiers to be ready and be there when disaster strikes,” German said. “And our nation counts on our Soldiers when duty calls for overseas service. I congratulate our members for choosing to stay in service and striking that balance between military duties, education or employment commitments and family obligations.”
