WARSAW — New York State Police charged Samuel M. Martin with driving while ability impaired by drugs and possession of marijuana following a Friday traffic stop on State Route 19.

According to the police report, Martin was stopped for having an inadequate headlight. Upon interview of Martin, Troopers detected a strong odor of burnt majihuana coming from the driver compartment.  Martin was placed under arrest after failing multiple SFST’s and was also found to be in possession of marijuana. 

He was transported to SP Warsaw for a drug recognition evaluation and processing before being issued an appearance ticket and traffic tickets returnable to Warsaw Town Court in March 2018.
