ELMA — A 16-year-old Elma girl died following a serious collision Sunday morning on Bullis Road.
According to New York State Police, the collision occurred at 11:15 a.m. involving two vehicles. Further investigation revealed a 1996 Audi traveling westbound crossed into the eastbound lane. A 2010 Toyota RAV4 traveling eastbound struck the Audi. The collision left the passenger in the Audi, Rachel E. Lofaso, 16 of Elma, in serious condition. Lofaso was transported to Mercy Hospital were she was pronounced deceased.
The four other individuals involved in this collision had injuries varying in severity, none of which were life threatening.
The NYSP Collision Reconstruction Unit assisted in this collision. This is still an ongoing investigation.
