PERDICAS – Effie C. (nee Caras) of Buffalo, entered into rest January 5, 2018, beloved wife of the late Anthony Perdicas; devoted mother of Ellen (Anthony) Andrews, Anastasia (Michael) Rossiter, Athena Susan (Henry) Schiller, Ernest (Nancy) Perdicas and the late Anthony G. Perdicas; cherished Yiayia of Benjamin (Emily) Rossiter, Daniel Rossiter, Alyssa (Jacob) Mast and Nicholas (Christine) Andrews; adored great-Yiayia of Benjamin Andrew Mast; loving daughter of the late Anthony and Genevieve Caras; predeceased by three sisters; also survived by many loving nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Relatives and friends may visit the LOMBARDO FUNERAL HOME (Northtowns Chapel), 885 Niagara Falls Blvd. near Eggert/Sheridan Dr., on Monday from 4-8 PM, where a Trisagion Service will be held at 7 PM. A Funeral Service will be held at Annunciation Greek Orthodox Church, 146 West Utica St. (corner of Delaware Ave.), Buffalo on Tuesday morning at 10 o’clock (please assemble at church). Interment Elmlawn Cemetery.

Effie was a lifelong member of the Annunciation Greek Orthodox Church, where she was the church organist/choir member from the 1960’s to the early 1980’s and unceasingly gave of her time to the Greek festivals. Special thank you to the staff of Elderwood at Grand Island for the committed care and genuine love given to Effie. In lieu of flowers, memorials in Effie’s name may be made to the Annunciation Greek Orthodox Church Family Life Center.
