UNIVERSITY AT BUFFALO ATHLETICS



BUFFALO — The University at Buffalo wrestling team will travel to Columbia on Saturday night for a non-conference dual. This is the fifth straight season the Bulls and Lions will meet.
Buffalo is 3-4 overall and 2-0 in the Mid-American Conference. The Bulls are coming off a successful showing at Midlands, led by 133-pounder Bryan Lantry who finished second in his weight class. It was the highest finished ever by a UB grappler at the prestigious event.
Columbia is 0-4 in duals on the season and is coming off a 31-10 loss to North Dakota State at the South Beach Duals on December 30. The Lions are led by heavyweight Garrett Ryan who is 15-3 on the year and ranked 16th in the nation.
This will be the sixth meeting between Buffalo and Columbia. Columbia holds a 3-2 advantage in the series. The Bulls won the last meeting, 32-2, at Alumni Arena last season.
