I attended the rally for the Westwood area to be turned into a recreation park.  The main speaker was Chris Drongosky, who is in a primary in the Republican race for a Town Board seat.
The Primary is September 12th.  There are three people running for the two Town Board seats.

The crowd which showed up for this rally suffered in the cold but their spirits to make Westwood into a recreational park were alive and vibrant.  Mr. Drongosky, who strongly favors such a change, as well as candidate Brain Kulpa, Mayor of the Village of Williamsville, were both in attendance.  Brian Kulpa is running for Town Supervisor.  Both of these men have been forceful in their stand to change Westwood into a recreational park if they win the election.

Several members of the group in attendance asked Chris several question about how this can be achieved.  Chris answered all the question asked of him by the crowd.

I noted that Judy Ferraro,  who has been working diligently on this project for many years, along with several members of her neighborhood group were there as well as many citizens from different parts of Amherst.

Even though the weather wasn’t a friend last evening the crowd was excited.  Many found seats while others stood during the whole rally.  They asked questions of Chris and got answers which made sense.

Chris asks that all voters to get out and vote on September 12, no matter who you plan to vote for.
VOTE!
