I attended a meeting of the ImagineAmherst group with Donald Smith. This group was listening to a tape from their consultant concerning the height of hotels in the ImagineAmherst plan. The discussion lasted about an hour. All members of this group added their input about the height and set back of the hotel. Ramona Popowich, a Town Board member, gave her input on the height of the hotels. When it came time to vote Ramona’s hand when up. I have been to other meetings where Ramona was active in the process of ImagineAmherst.
Our US Attorney General, Mr. Jeff Sessions, recused himself from the Russia part of the Trump investigation because he was part of the campaign from the beginning. It was the proper thing to do. If and when ImagineAmherst comes before the Town Board for approval Mrs. Ramona Popawich must recuse herself. It’s the proper thing to do.
