Patricia Gritzmacher passed away May 28, 2017 in Newfane Rehab & Health Care Center. Born September 9, 1925 in Gibbstown, NJ she was the daughter of Roger H. and Florence (Bell) Foltz. She was a graduate of Lockport High School and also the New York State Institute of Applied Arts & Sciences in Buffalo majoring in Food Service Administration. Pat was a member of the Dale Association, longtime member of the former St. Mary’s RC Church, and was active with the Navy Seabees Veterans of America Island X-8. She was predeceased by her husband Albert in 2013. Pat married her late husband Albert M. Gritzmacher in St, Mary’s RC Church in Lockport on July 12, 1952.

Pat is survived by her children Albert (Bobbi) Gritzmacher, Jr., Mary (late Alfred) Moretti, Joan (Richard) Allis, Barbara (late Frank) Fellabick, Susan Gritzmacher, John Gritzmacher and late Mark (Gayle) Gritzmacher; grandmother of Francis Gritzmacher, Bryan Gritzmacher, Melissa Gritzmacher, Michael Allis, Sara Fellabick, Matthew Gritzmacher, Andrew Gritzmacher, Jonathan Gritzmacher and late Albert Gritzmacher III; sister of Frances (Paul) Kane, and the late John, James, Thomas, and Roger Foltz; also several nieces and nephews.

Family and friends may call Friday, June 2nd from 2-4 and 6-8 PM in Prudden & Kandt Funeral Home, 242 Genesee St., Lockport. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Saturday, June 3rd at 10 AM in St. John the Baptist RC Church, 168 Chestnut St., Lockport. Children’s Organ Transplant Association in her grandson, Francis Gritzmacher’s name, or the charity of the donor’s choice in her memory. Interment will be in Glenwood Cemetery.
