UNIVERSITY AT BUFFALO ATHLETICS


LEXINGTON, Ky. – The 2017 season came to an end today for the University at Buffalo track and field team at the NCAA East Preliminaries. The team completed the season with strong performance from all athletes that competed at the competition, topping off the season with a record-breaking performance in the men’s 4X400 relay.

The men’s 4X400 relay team consisting of freshman Gyasi Morris, seniors Joshua Gali and Brian Cummiskey, and junior Mitchell Moore, worked together to clock in at 3:08.50 to set a new school record and break the previous one by over one second. Their performance landed them in 18th place overall.

Ryan Billian also had an outstanding performance at the NCAA East Preliminaries. Billian broke the school record in the event on Friday, he nearly did the same on Saturday, clocking in at 13.97 for a 16th place overall finish.

The Bulls season ended with 12 outdoor school records and five outdoor MAC Championships.
