STAFF REPORTS

LOCKPORT — The Kenan Center is planning two yoga and mindfulness programs for families on June 10 and 24. Both yoga classes will take place at the Kenan Center House, 433 Locust St., for the whole family to participate in together. Instructor is Brandi Silsby.

Classes will concentrate on poses that will be both fun and beneficial for all family members. During classes, Brandi Silsby will lead sessions focusing on breathing work and foundational yoga poses. Cooperative poses will be integrated into the class, as well as mindfulness skills that can be used every day. Recommended for children 3 years and older. Classes are 10:30 – 11:30 a.m.

Each class is $25 for a family of four, or $8 per person. Space is limited. Adults can bring their own mat if they prefer, and child size mats are provided.

Pre-registration is required for all programs, call 433-2617 or visit the Business Office at 433 Locust Street, Monday through Friday 9 a.m. – 5 p.m. to register.
