ROCHESTER — Busenitz made two relief appearances, totaling 5.1 innings pitched with seven strikeouts, only two hits allowed, and no runs or walks. In his last five outings, he has pitched 9.2 innings with two hits, one walk, and 14 strikeouts. Busenitz has not allowed a run in a game since April 19 (nine appearances).

Is in his fifth professional season and second in the Twins organization after being acquired from Los Angeles-AL with Hector Santiago for Ricky Nolasco and Alex Meyer on August 1, 2016…originally selected by the Angels in the 25th round of the 2013 Draft out of Kennesaw State University….transferred to Rochester on August 18, 2016…earned the save in his first Red Wings appearance on August 21 at Gwinnett.
