OLEAN — A 23-year-old Hinsdale man was charged Monday with seventh-degree possession of a controlled substance following a traffic stop on Front Street.
According to New York State Police, Troopers stopped Cody C Havens for no NYS inspection sticker and smelled marijuana coming from the vehicle while they interviewed him, which led to a search and the subsequent discovery of rubber capsules containing concentrated cannabis and a small plastic bag containing cocaine.
Havens was taken to SP Olean for processing and issued appearance tickets returnable to the City of Olean Court later this month.
