CARROLLTON — A pair of Bradford, Pa. residents were arrested on drug charges after a traffic stop on Hillside Drive on Wednesday.
According to New York State Police, around 6:10 p.m. Troopers stopped 22-year-old Shawna N. Gault for not wearing a seatbelt. While interviewing her, they smelled marijuana, which led to a search and the discovery of marijuana, a marijuana smoking device and an unmarked pill bottle containing Hydrocodone in Gault’s possession.
The passenger of the vehicle, 54-year-old James Haley was also found to be in possession of marijuana and an unmarked pill bottle containing Vicodin pills.
Both were processed at SP Olean and arraigned in the Town of Carrollton court before being released on their own recognizance with orders to re-appear in June.
