BERGEN — A 57-year-old Scottsville man died in a one-car crash on State Highway 262.
According to New York State Police, the 2002 Ford operated by Charles R. Grower Jr. was traveling eastbound on State Highway 262 exited the roadway onto the south shoulder and struck a utility pole. Grower was pronounced on the scene by Genesee County Coroner, Thomas Miller.
Preliminary investigation reveals that Grower may have had a medical event before exiting the roadway.
This is still an open and active investigation.
