STAFF REPORTS

BUFFALO — After enduring record rainfalls in both April and in the start of May, the Buffalo Bisons and baseball fans in Western New York and Southern Ontario are ready to move on from Mother Nature’s soggy start to the season. So, the Bisons are encouraging all fans to put away their umbrellas and get out their sunglasses, because they have issued a ‘NO RAIN GUARANTEE’ for their seven-game homestand, May 15-21.
During the Bisons next homestand, the team is guaranteeing that there will be no measurable rainfall at the ballpark during any one of those contests. If, for some reason Mother Nature doesn’t get the hint and it rains at any point between the scheduled first pitch and the final out, fans can exchange their ticket for that game for TWO ADDITIONAL TICKETS for any remaining game during the month of May –even if the game is not delayed or interrupted because of the weather!
The Bisons also announced that any unused 2017 game ticket from earlier in the season (April 6-May 7) is now good for a 2-for-1 exchange for any game during the month of May. Exchanges must be made at the Coca-Cola Field Box Office.
“We certainly haven’t gotten much cooperation from Mother Nature at the start of our season. Hopefully, this ‘No Rain Guarantee’ will send a message to the clouds that all the fans of Western New York and Southern Ontario are ready for sunshine and Bisons baseball at Coca-Cola Field,” said Mike Buczkowski, Vice President/General Manager of the Bisons.
