The Buffalo Bisons organization reports it is deeply saddened to learn of the passing of long-time season ticket holder and 2010 Bisons Fan of the Year, Tim Favero.
Favero had been a season ticket holder every year since 1988 and was fixture at Coca-Cola Field since the park first opened. A Buffalo-native, he was a familiar face just above the walkway in Section 104 and made sure he was at almost every Bisons’ home game, including earlier this season. At games, Favero was well-known closely following the action on the field by listening to the team’s radio broadcast on his trademark headset and meticulously marking each play in his personal scorebook.
The Bisons thoughts and prayers are with the Favero family. Tim is survived by his brothers John and Michael as well as many nieces and nephews.
