LAKE BUENA VISTA, Fla. – The Purple Eagles women’s golf team completed the second round of the MAAC Championships on Saturday. The team carded 337 (+49) in round two and is tied with Siena for sixth place after two rounds of play.

Emily Doyle led Niagara, firing an 81 (+9). She is tied for 17th place after the first 36 holes of play.

Daniella Hopper carded an 83 (+11) in the second round for a two-day total of 168 (+24). Hopper is tied for 23rd place.

Marissa Del Monaco shaved seven strokes off her round one score to card an 83 (+11) in round two. She moved up nine spots on the leaderboard and is tied for 28th.

Selena Cerra is in 33rd place. She carded a 92 (+20) in round two for a 36-hole total of 175 (+31). Sarah Godfrey shot 90 (+18) in round two and is tied for 38th place.

The women will play the third and final round of the MAAC Championships on Sunday, April 23. It will be broadcast live on ESPN3 beginning at 10:00 a.m.
