GROVE — A 31-year-old Portageville man was charged Saturday with driving while intoxicated following a two-car crash on State Route 70.
According to New York State Police, Justin C. Spencer had struck a guiderail and then rear-ended another vehicle. While Troopers interviewed Spencer, they determined him to be intoxicated. He was taken to SP Fillmore where he recorded a 0.19 percent blood alcohol content.
He was released on tickets and is due in the Town of Grove Court on June 5.
