NORTH KINGSTOWN, R.I. – The Purple Eagles men’s golf team completed the Rhode Island Invitational on Tuesday afternoon. They carded a total three-round score of 939 (+75) and finished in 13th place.

Daniel Weimer led Niagara, finishing tied for 30th place. He shot 79 (+7) in the final round for a total score of 230 (+14).

Ben Conroy carded a 232 (+16) total and finished tied for 36th place. Christian Nizamis shot 233 (+17) and tied for 38th place.

Nicco Gentile shot 83 (+11) in round three for a total score of 244 (+28) to finish in 70th place. Ryan Mihok carded a three-round total of 259 (+43) to finish in 77th place.

The Purple Eagles are back in action at the MAAC Championships in Orlando, Fla. Thursday through Sunday.
