NORTH KINGSTOWN, R.I. – The Niagara men’s golf team completed the first two rounds of the Rhode Island Invitational at Quidnessett Golf Course on Monday. The team carded a total score of 616 (+40) and are in 12th place.

Ben Conroy carded a 149 (+5) through the first two rounds. He shaved five strokes off his round one score of 77 (+5) to shoot even par in round two and finish the day tied for 18th place.

Daniel Weimer led Niagara in round one, firing a 75 (+3), his best score of the spring season. He carded a two-round total of 151 (+7) and is in an eight-way tie for 25th place.

Christian Nizamis shot 155 (+11) and is tied for 47th place and Nicco Gentile carded a 161 (+17) and is tied for 66th place.

Ryan Mihok rounded out the Niagara quintet. He carded a two-round total of 174 (+30) and is in 78th place.

The team will complete the 14-team invitational on Tuesday.
