EAST OTTO — Griffis Sculpture Park is looking for volunteers to assist the park with some spring cleaning at their annual “Volunteer Day,” slated for 10 a.m. on April 29.

In anticipation of the park’s May 1st official season opening, volunteers are needed to help clean and beautify the park. Participants can expect to do some light work. Lunch will be provided.

Volunteers can meet at the main parking lot at 6902 Mill Valley Road. Volunteers are asked to notify the park’s executive director Nila Griffis about participating in the clean-up, by calling (716) 667-2808 or nila.griffis@gmail.com.

Griffis Sculpture Park is the United States’ largest sculpture park, featuring over 200 sculptures located in the fields, forests and ponds of the 400 acre park. Created by artist Larry Griffis in the late 1960s, the park draws thousands of visitors each year. The park is owned and operated by the Ashford Hollow Foundation.
